Blarney is most visited attraction in Cork. For those not familiar, Blarney Castle is famous for its Stone (known as Blarney Stone). Legend has it that if you kiss the stone you will suddenly gain a “gift of the gab”, in other words, you will never be out of words again.
The Castle is surrounded by beautiful gardens and further afield there is a Blarney House which is only opened 3 months per year.
Built nearly six hundred years ago by one of Ireland's greatest chieftains, Cormac MacCarthy, it attracts a lot of worldwide interest.
